Baptism
The Spiritualist Baptism is a beautiful service with participation from parents,
godparents, siblings, and/or grandparents if so requested.
If the baptism service is for an adult, they will chose from the options available to
them. Godparents may be chosen or omitted.
Different options will be provided to the parents of children, from which they will decide
what they want included in the service. This will make the service more personal for all
those concerned.
A Christening / Baptism can be held anywhere the individual or parents would like if the
site is a public place. (Permits and/or fees may be required for parks or city facilities.)
Fee includes prep time, consultation with individuals or parents prior to the event,
paperwork, candles and the flowers which will be used in the ceremony.

Spiritual Counseling
Every one of us, at one time in our lives or another, will need the help of a Spiritual
Counselor. Our spirit is ever changing, and as it does we often find ourselves at a
crossroads. These are times when an outside source can be beneficial in assisting us to
find the best path to travel.
What I have found to be the root of many of our internal struggles is the fact that our
beliefs have changed from what we once believed to be the core of who we are. What
beliefs we grew up with and were taught to believe, no longer fit us as adults. You may
feel that at one time you knew who you were and what your beliefs were, but now you
feel lost and confused, unable to identify where you belong. These are indicators of
your spiritual growth. This is the way your spirituality was meant to be - ever growing
and expanding. If an old belief no longer fits, throw it away - make room for new ones.
I will help to clear up any uncertainty about the world of Spirit, and possibly direct you
to where you may need to be, showing you optional pathways.
As everyone is on a different level of spiritual development you can't compare yourself
to anyone else. Everyone has a different concept and relationship with God. Everyone
will have their own unique beliefs - no two will be alike. This is what makes us
individual. God gives each of us the gifts of Unconditional Love and Free Will to believe
what we wish without judgement.

Weddings & Commitment Ceremonies
Wedding and commitment services are openly loving, unique, and beautiful. As an
ordained minister of both the Spiritualist and Non-Denominational Christian faith, I
believe that wherever there is love there too is God. Therefore, no one should be
refused the right to a union with another living soul. Whether the two people making
their commitments or wedding each other are of the opposite or the same sex, I believe
that they should have the right to do so. Love is a wonderful and heavenly state; we
should accept it from wherever it is offered.
The wedding/commitment service will be made as personal as the participants would
like. Family, speakers, singers, and/or musicians may participate if the couple so
wishes. The length of the service will be determined by the contents thereof.
As a reverend I have the authority to wed/unite you throughout the state of Michigan.
Banquet halls, chapels, parks, private homes, etc. are optional choices. (Some city and
county municipalities require a permit for using their site, therefore it is recommended
that you contact them well in advance of the event date.)
- The wedding between two persons of opposite sex is a legal ceremony.
- The commitment between two persons of the opposite or same sex is not
considered legal in the state of Michigan at this time.
If the two parties are of the belief that they are entering into a life-commitment, then I
will be honored to officiate.

Funerals & Memorial Services
Funerals in the Spiritualist belief are very comforting, uplifting, encouraging, and
beautiful. With the belief in everlasting life, the message during the service will be
that the deceased is, and always will be with us.
The service will also include personal information, characteristic traits of the departed,
likes, dislikes, hobbies, and such.
If requested, meaningful poems, musical pieces, readings or personal stories can be
told by family and/or friends.
I try to make the service as personal as possible by holding the service as the departed
would have preferred.
The service will last approximately 1/2 to 1 hour. If the deceased will be transported to
a cemetary, I will stay with the body of the deceased until it is laid to rest.
There is no charge for this service.
